When you move the ChomChom back and forth, an electrostatic charge is created that helps to lift and draw the hair towards it. Once it captures it, then the hair is stored in a container that can easily be disposed of by flipping open the lid and dumping it in the trash.
A lint roller with sticky tape isn’t going to have the strength that the electrostatic charge has, and the tape is going to get filled up quicker, causing you to have to continually remove the outer layer. A lint roller just pales in comparison to the ChomChom in ease of use, and ability to grab the most stubborn hairs out of your clothing and furniture.
